An opera for children in a unique adaptation of the Shakespearean classic with various different musical arrangements. After the premiere in Beeskow. The small cast (soprano, baritone, piano). will tour regional music schools and libraries.

Hermia and Lysander are to get married, but unfortunately not to the person they love. At their weddings, they curl up in the garden and seek comfort with each other – and their treasured childhood cuddly toys. What if they just ran off together and left all this stupid “sensible” adult life behind and did whatever they wanted together. With that thought, they fall asleep exhausted and the night passes over them and nature takes its course.
